Welcome to Health School

Health School specialises in training students in professional health courses.

Having been a practicing Kinesiologist and Tutor since 2001, I have seen thousands of clients and students create incredible changes in their physical and mental health. Teaching for TASK (The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology) in the past and now for the KA (Kinesiology Association) has been a rewarding part of my career. I started teaching Kinesiology when the Foundation Course was known as Balanced Health and then in 2002, I was delighted when TASK approached me to see if I would consider co-teaching with Stephenie Mills who had been one of my lead trainers when I did the Diploma so I was thrilled to accept.

When you learn Kinesiology, dramatic changes happen.

More recently, I have been invited on to the Training Team for Health Creation and have completed the Trainer Training with Dr Rosy Daniel and am now offering the Health Creation Coaching and Mentoring Diploma.

Dispel limiting beliefs with Mentoring and Coaching and bring transformational change.

I would love to work with you as you journey deeper into Wellness.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

+ Why Learn Kinesiology?

Do you want to help people feel better in their life?

Now, more than ever is the time for Natural Health. Our planet is becoming sicker and so are its inhabitants (us, the people who live on planet earth).

Never in history have people been ill in so many different ways. Physical life-threatening illnesses such as cancer, heart disease dementia/Alzheimers are all increasing in the UK. Chronic illnesses that may not be life threatening but are certainly life limiting are also increasing.

Our health system is under stress and finding it difficult to cope with todays pressures on it. It is now beginning to understand that over-medicating patients (antibiotics, statins, etc) may not be the answer.

So what can we do?

Natural Health is a way of looking at health and how we can improve it using natural methods. Kinesiology is an incredible way of viewing what is going on in a person.

Healthcare in the UK generally looks at individual as a number of Systems: eg. the Digestive System, the Circulatory System etc. However, in Kinesiology, we look at a client as a living, breathing being that is integrated and connected. When one area of the body is out of balance such as in depression, (mental) it has a knock-on effect on other systems:

  • Immune, (people can become more prone to infections when depressed)
  • Skeletal (posture - shoulders can become rounded)
  • Digestive (digestion doesn’t occur optimally when stressed, anxious & depressed)
  • Respiratory (breathing can become shallow and occur in the chest rather than diaphragmatic breathing)
  • And alongside the emotional component that people experience with depression it also has a deep effect on cognitive function as well.

+ What does Kinesiology do different?

So within Kinesiology, how would we look at someone who came with depression as part of their make-up for example. Well we look at people as Whole Beings not just the symptom or ailment. As well as doing a full history of what medical ailments the client has had, we also look at diet, movement, their work load and what an average day is like, what is their life purpose etc?

So within Kinesiology we might look at

  • Food Intolerances
  • Hormonal Imbalances
  • Parasites, Candida, Heavy Metals etc
  • Past Trauma Recall
  • Bach Flower Essences
  • Supportive Nutrition
  • Cranials
  • Affirming Statements
  • and much more

Looking at a person this way gives them more information as to why they feel the way they do and also more ways in how they can help themselves.

Supporting and educating clients gently and in a way they understand empowers them, it gives them the reasons as to why they are feeling the way they do. And this gives them the impetus to change!
Although depression (the example above) can be exhausting for the sufferer, as practitioners we support our clients and find out what they are happy to change bit by bit.

So whatever a potential client comes with, we will look it from a multi-level way to see the best aspects that will restore balance and that is what is taught in our fabulous courses.

People don’t generally become ill in a day, it takes weeks, months years and quite often decades so therefore it was a journey they didn’t even know they were on. Its also a journey to Better Health - it doesn’t have to be achieved in one session.

The Kinesiology Foundation and Diploma Course that Rosemary teaches are the newly reviewed courses accredited by the KA (Kinesiology Association) and the CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council)
